48 Lobster Flybridge: The world premiere at the boot
Solaris Power 48 Lobster Flybridge will be displayed in a worldwide première at the boot Düsseldorf 2020 together with 48 Open, which had a lot of success during last Cannes Yachting Festival. The new model focused on comfort and livability, featuring a walkaround asset which enables safe and easy movement from bow to stern. Like its predecessors Lobster 55 and of the 48 Open, 48 Lobster Flybridge is a very technical boat which privileges seagoing performance, functionality, safety and seaworthiness. Its leading-edge Volvo IPS propulsive technology is specifically integrated with the hull shape, a solution with no comparison in this yachting segment. The 48 Lobster sails both at low speed in displacement and planes at maximum speed of over 30 kts unlike the rest of the planing hulls. This unique capability allows to tackle long journeys in adverse weather conditions with total safety and great range. As in the previous models, also in this new boat, Norberto Ferretti focused on comfort and livability: a walkaround enables easy movement from bow to stern – comfortably and safely. The spaces have been planned in exact detail, in order to offer the maximum of functionality and ease of use. The new Solaris Power 48 Lobster Flybridge offers two options of engines: a Volvo 600 IPS or a 650; it can sail at cruising speed of 20 kts with a range of around 300 nautical miles.
