The choice not to build a flybridge was dictated by shipyards motivation to design a Motor Yacht that is really seaworthier than her predecessor. The available living space on this 40-foot boat, equivalent to that of a 45-foot motor monohull, is one of the major advantages of the MY 4.S. Her great range, which also allows for some long-distance cruising, is favoured by this optimization of living space, which leads to much improved fuel efficiency.
With hulls designed 100% specifically for motor yacht, the MY4.S is positioned as a true motor catamaran. She has all the advantages, with seakeeping performance and modern lines. A lot of work has been done to increase the space in the living area, increasing the extension of the sofa and improving ergonomics in the helm station.
A large transparent sunroof makes life on board more cheerful and comfortable, full of light and air. The master cabin in the 3-cabin version is more spacious with the introduction of a sofa and large windows, similar to her bigger sisterships.
The cockpit will be the biggest surprise, the space obtained compared to the old 37 is surprising, beyond a U-shaped sofa that turns into a sunlounger there is a large space for grill and fridge, between the sofa and the main door there is room for a table and 3 additional chairs. The S version is lower, sportier, lighter, the absence of the flybridge access ladder makes the cockpit frees up even more space for this size.
