The new flybridge yacht has a bold personality and aims to elevate the very concept of cruising through solutions that combine elegance and functionality with a special focus on privacy
The Ferretti Yachts 800, unveiled at boot Düsseldorf and currently under construction at the Cattolica shipyard, marks the culmination of a transformative range renewal initiated in 2018.
This 80-foot masterpiece, measuring 24.47 meters overall (with a 24-meter compliant version available), boasts a generous 5.91-meter beam, showcasing the collaborative brilliance of the Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Architect Filippo Salvetti’s exterior design and IdeaeItalia’s interior artistry deliver a refined evolution of Ferretti Yachts’ signature style. The 800 is meticulously crafted to provide unparalleled comfort and a superior onboard lifestyle, maximizing space and optimizing layout for a yacht of this size.
Expansive windows offer uninterrupted panoramic views, while an optional sliding salon door enhances the connection to the surrounding environment. Thoughtfully separated spaces ensure complete privacy, and the impressive 40-square-meter flybridge amplifies the onboard experience.
The exterior design blends a contemporary aesthetic with the brand’s iconic DNA, propelling the Ferretti Yachts range into a dynamic future. Its bold personality seamlessly merges a sporty profile with sophisticated details. A defining feature is the flybridge’s elegant, sloping lines towards the stern, a departure from traditional parallel designs. This innovative approach achieves a harmonious balance of timeless elegance, dynamic performance, and remarkable volume.
IdeaeItalia masterfully sculpted the interior architecture of the Ferretti Yachts 800, seamlessly blending elegance with intelligent functionality. A meticulous analysis of movement flows on the main deck resulted in an innovative galley configuration, opening onto both the main hallway and the helm station, subtly delineating guest and crew pathways for enhanced privacy.
Notably, a day head on the main deck and a master cabin featuring a freestanding dressing table, vanity area, and exceptionally spacious bathroom elevate the onboard experience to unparalleled heights.
Stepping aboard, the aft beach area, spanning 7 square meters, features a welcoming fold-down transom sofa. The 15-square-meter cockpit, with its breathtaking glass parapet, extends the visual expanse towards the beach club, while a port-side walkway leads to the discreet crew quarters, housing three separate cabins.
Within the salon, bathed in natural light from expansive glazing, panoramic sea views unfold even from the comfort of the plush sofa. The generous interior volumes are accentuated by meticulously arranged furnishings and a soaring two-meter ceiling.
Owners can choose between two sophisticated decor moods: Classic, embracing earthy tones, or Contemporary, showcasing luminous woods and refreshing sea-inspired hues, both embodying the refined ‘Made in Italy’ aesthetic.
Adjacent to the salon, an elegant dining area accommodates eight guests, while a fully equipped, separate galley connects seamlessly via a sliding bulkhead. Ingeniously designed separate walkways allow crew members to access the galley from the exterior and navigate to the wheelhouse without disturbing guest flow. The helm station, accessible from the hallway, can be fully enclosed for ultimate privacy.
The forward exterior living area, spanning 14 square meters, offers a haven of relaxation with a sunbed and a comfortable C-shaped sofa.
On the lower deck, the luxurious sleeping quarters comprise an 18-square-meter master suite, a forward VIP cabin, and two guest cabins, providing accommodations for eight guests, each with an en-suite bathroom.
The expansive 40-square-meter flybridge, with its sleek, arched superstructure, offers an exceptional outdoor living space. A starboard dining area with a table and ample storage beneath the sofa, and a port-side bar unit with optional stools, create an inviting social hub. Freestanding Talenti furnishings add a touch of refined elegance. The forward helm station ensures comfortable seating and exceptional visibility.
The Ferretti Yachts 800 offers two powerful engine options: standard twin 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines, achieving a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, or optional twin 1,800 HP MAN V12 engines, pushing the yacht to a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots (estimated performance).
