First Heron 38 in Construction
Just like her predecessor, Heron 56, the new Heron 38 was designed around the hull, developed after extensive research and testing, and with goals such as smooth sailing with minimum drag, limited fuel consumption, excellent performance with even most basic engines, and maximum comfort. The naval architects paid special attention to stability of the hull, which resulted in Heron 38 being absolutely steady no matter the speed or conditions. The bow of the latest model is vertical, delicate, as sharp as a knife and curved longitudinally. Aesthetics wise, Heron 38 is a sophisticated vessel whose elegance is underscored by the metallic lacquer selected for the hull. The interior is customizable, with size and number of cabins depending on the choice of the engines. Available in two versions – Walkaround and Cabinato – of identical dimensions and displacement, the 38 can be powered by 2 x Volvo Penta D6 – 400 hp DuoProp Stern Drives, or outboard engines up to 2×350 hp.
