H. MOSER & CIE
Endeavour Tourbillon Ox’s Eye Automatic 40mm 18k Red Gold
Minimalism in the service of fine watchmaking. The new model of the Swiss manufacture showcases what ‘less is more’ means when it comes to watches – and what exactly can be done with less. Its unique dial without the logo and index houses only two hands, and the tourbillon is made in natural crystal Tiger’s eye, easily recognizable by fascinating alternating layers of gold and brown.
Tiger’s eye was cherished throughout history and attributed protective powers, but H. Moser & Cie combine this semi-precious stone with a red gold case to create stunning visuals. Every unit in the 50-strong limited edition is as unique as the crystal it’s made from, which is always a nice touch in fine watchmaking. The heart of the Endeavor Tourbillon is the HMC 804 mechanism with a 72-hour power reserve.
Seamaster 300 Bronze Gold
Simplicity, beauty and reliability have made the Omega Seamaster into one of the cult divers’ watches. Introduced back in 1957 as the first professional watch of the Swiss brand, it has become a favorite tool of experienced divers, researchers and others who spend a lot of time at sea.
As of this year, as part of the Heritage collection, Omega Seamaster 300 is available in a new material, an alloy named Bronze Gold. The alloy consists of copper, gold, silver, gallium and palladium, looks like a mixture of gold and rose gold, is impressively shiny, and can be worn in direct contact with the skin without unpleasant green oxidation. This divers’ classic is powered by an Omega Caliber 8912 with a Master Chronometer upgrade.
Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40
The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date, known as the ‘president’s watch’, is available only in precious metals, and is the most prestigious watch of the Oyster Perpetual collection. This Day-Date 40 model, made in 18 ct Everose gold, is enriched with a new exclusive eisenkiesel dial with ten diamonds and adorned with a diamond-set bezel.
Its elegant and imposing President bracelet provides complete reliability and comfort, while the self-winding movement, calibre 3255, has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
Luminor Chrono Goldtech Blu Notte PAM 1111
At the virtual exhibition Watches & Wonders, Panerai presented several new models, among them the Submersible eLAB-ID, made almost entirely of recycled materials. The Italian manufacturer has also introduced the gold Luminor Chrono Goldtech Blu Notte, aiming to charm die-hard Paneristi, as well as potential new clients looking for a luxury chronograph.
With an imposing 44-mm case, the new Luminor is a magnificent watch made of Goldtech, a special type of alloy that contains copper, platinum and rose gold. Deeper and darker red than actual red gold, the alloy is more resistant to fading, which always bodes well with fans of watches like this. The Blu Notte blue of the dial is reminiscent of the most beautiful sea color, it shines beautifully in the light, and the new mechanism P.9200 with 31 rubies built in house has a 42-hour power reserve.
Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K
A new member of the Black Bay family, the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K, for the first time brings an exclusive precious metal to the collection, 18 ct yellow gold, which adorns its 39 mm case with an open case back.
The name Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K is also a reference to the year in which the first Tudor divers’ watch waterproof to 200 meters (660 feet) was introduced. It is available in two versions, on an alligator leather strap, as well as on a complementary woven strap in golden-green tones. This revolutionary model is equipped with the Manufacture MT5400 calibre whose power reserve extends to approximately 70 hours.
Overseas Self-Winding Pink Gold
Gold case and a sky blue dial look spectacular together – if combined by true masters of the trade. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding Pink Gold is a fantastic example of sporty elegance that works just as well at a golf tournament, on the deck of a luxury yacht, or at a gala dinner that requires a more formal dress code.
The third edition of the Overseas series, which debuted in 1996, emphasizes the delicate, sophisticated lines and numerous little details that have made this watchmaker famous. Adorned by a small Maltese cross, trademark of every Vacheron Constantin model, this watch is a work of art that embodies everything the manufacturers have learned in their 266 years. The in-house Caliber 5100 boasts an impressive 60-hour reserve and the Geneva seal guarantees exclusivity and true commitment to perfection.
Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 Bentley Limited Edition
Breitling and Bentley are celebrating 19 years of partnership – the longest partnership between an automobile maker and a watchmaker – with one very special watch. The model named Breitling Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 Bentley Limited Edition celebrates the great tradition, craftsmanship and innovation of these two luxury brands in a grand way.
Part of 25-strong limited series, this exclusive new chronograph also serves as tribute to Willy Breitling, a passionate Bentley driver and talented watchmaker whose watches have written the history of the watchmaking industry. The dial is made in the traditional British racing green and offers a peek into the tourbillon cage, the case is red gold, and the alligator belt in golden brown gives this watch a dash of elegance and glamour.
