Autumn Issue of Yachts Croatia Is Out Now

The summer yachting season is behind us, and the major international boat shows in Cannes and Monaco have unveiled a host of new models, offering a glimpse into the future of modern yachting. New yachts, innovative design solutions and advanced technologies took centre stage at this year's events, and our editorial team has selected some of the most interesting highlights.

Gracing the cover of the new issue is the Majesty 145, a superyacht built by Gulf Craft, distinguished by her elegant lines, spacious decks and contemporary approach to interior design. In our tests and reviews section, we share our impressions from sea trials aboard the Absolute Navetta 58, Prestige F4.3, SACS Hyper 5S and Technohull Alpha 45. We also present a selection of the most exciting boat show premieres, from motor yachts and catamarans to sailing yachts, tenders and RIBs.

Beyond yachting, the new issue of Yachts Croatia takes a broader look at the world of luxury, from travel and gastronomy to fashion, art, watches and design, exploring the stories and trends shaping contemporary lifestyles both at sea and ashore.

Our travels keep us in Croatia, but this time we explore familiar destinations from a different perspective. Sailing Through History takes us on a journey through the country's ancient heritage, from the Pula Arena and Diocletian's Palace to the remains of ancient harbours beneath the sea. 

We also discover six lesser-known places in Croatia, each with a rich history, fascinating legends and unspoilt nature. Our journey continues to Opatija and the Istrian estate of Stancija Baracija, while a visit to Baranja takes us to Čudesna šuma and Primitivo, where the Romulić family has created a special place to enjoy nature and local cuisine.

In this issue, we also speak with two successful women who have built remarkable careers in very different fields. Marina Cvetić, the winemaker who turned a shared dream with Gianni Masciarelli into one of Italy's most important wineries, is celebrating 35 years of the wine line bearing her name, as well as receiving the prestigious title of Knight of Labour.

Kate McCue, the first American woman to captain a major cruise ship, has temporarily stepped away from the bridge after nearly three decades at sea. She talks to us about leadership, luxury, Dubrovnik and what might bring her back to the helm.

Our lifestyle section opens with an exhibition dedicated to fashion visionary Iris van Herpen, whose work brings together haute couture, art and technology.

We also explore wineries where contemporary architecture blends into the natural landscape, as well as prestigious automotive brands whose exclusive personalisation programmes create one-of-a-kind cars at the intersection of engineering and art. The issue also features stories from the worlds of furniture design and photography.

For watch enthusiasts, we take a closer look at moonphase watches, one of the most fascinating complications in haute horlogerie, through a selection of five different models. In the world of jewellery, we bring news of the arrival of prestigious Italian jewellery house Roberto Coin in Croatia, with its collections now available at the Mamić 1970 boutique in the heart of Zagreb.
