Flexjet, a global leader in private aviation, and Ferretti Group, an icon of luxury yachting, have revealed the remarkable outcome of their creative collaboration.
Riva Volare is a stunning new aircraft and helicopter cabin collection inspired by the legendary style of Riva motoryachts. This fully custom interior concept brings the refined aesthetic and artisanal craftsmanship of the world’s most famous yachts into the Gulfstream G650 jet and the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, offering a uniquely immersive travel experience for the world’s most discerning travelers.
Part of Flexjet’s exclusive LXi Cabin Collection™, the Riva Volare design is now installed aboard one of the company’s Gulfstream G650s, an ultra-long-range jet capable of carrying up to 12–15 passengers on flights of up to 16 hours, connecting global destinations such as New York and Tokyo, London and Singapore, or Milan and Hong Kong.
The interior concept is also featured in two of Flexjet’s Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, one stationed in Florida and the other in Milan, which will serve destinations across Italy and the French Riviera. This marks Flexjet’s expansion of helicopter services into mainland Europe, responding to strong demand from existing jet Owners as well as new clients who appreciate helicopter flexibility during the summer season.
The official reveal took place on June 26 at Milano Prime Linate Airport, in a brand-new hangar constructed by SEA Prime for Sirio — Flexjet’s sister company specializing in aircraft management and maintenance. Guests were treated to a dramatic static display of the Flexjet Gulfstream G650 with the Riva Volare interior, a Sikorsky S-76, and the Aquariva Special motoryacht, perfectly capturing the “air-to-water” theme.
The design was crafted over months of collaboration between the in-house teams of both brands, blending sophisticated materials, high-gloss striped wood veneers, signature light-dark contrasts, and polished metal elements inspired by legendary Riva models such as the 1960s Aquarama and the modern Aquariva.
Kenn Ricci, Flexjet Chairman, shared his excitement:
“I have long admired the iconic style of Riva, and seeing it brought to life in our aircraft is nothing short of exceptional. At Flexjet, design is more than an aesthetic — it is central to the experience we deliver. Riva Volare is a celebration of a timeless design icon and a bold statement of where we are going next, defining what a modern luxury brand should be.”
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, added:
“Riva style is an expression of elegance that infuses every project with exclusivity — on the water, on land, and now in the air. Riva Volare is yet another wonderful chapter in our collaboration with Flexjet, with whom we share a passion for constantly raising the bar for our customers. Gazing at the sky while immersed in the world of Riva is an incredibly beautiful and satisfying experience.”
The Gulfstream G650’s Riva Volare interior features hand-stitched leather seats trimmed in Riva’s signature aquamarine and embroidered with the yacht maker’s logo, alongside high-gloss striped wood panels and pop-up “kibitzer” social seating in a classic nautical blue-and-white stripe pattern. Accent areas in aquamarine and deep Blu Sera pair with polished metal trim, while a silky carpet evokes the dynamic movement of a Riva motoryacht cutting through the sea.
In addition, Gulfstream passengers will enjoy Riva-branded glassware, china, and silverware, carefully selected and served by Flexjet’s Red Label-trained cabin servers to complete the premium experience.
For those seeking a more flexible and rapid arrival in their summer destinations, the Sikorsky S-76 with Riva Volare trim offers up to 2.5 hours of flight time for 8 passengers, with proven twin-turbine reliability, advanced safety features including a four-blade rotor and dual autopilot systems, and flights always operated by two IFR-certified pilots.
