Sunseeker 100 Yacht marks the beginning of a new era, the landmark XXI century flybridge yacht, as declared by the shipyard’s representatives at the launch of the first hull in April 2022 in Pool (UK), and it proved this statement by becoming later a showstopper at Cannes Yachting Festival

Sunseeker 100 is an RPH class yacht. Raised Pilot House (RPH) is probably one of the wisest elaborations in yacht building history. This configuration, with the covered pilot house between main and upper decks, allows you to enjoy more social space aboard, and it makes your helmsman happy as well with excellent overview from just below the flybridge and the working place only for himself.

This concept has been especially successfully used by Sunseeker, whose RPH yachts like models 34 M and 115 (followed by 116) are some of the most successful yachts of these sizes on the market.

Superyacht Sunseeker 100

As we hop aboard Sunseeker 100 Yacht we see a very spacy bathing platform. It literally has enough place to organize a proper lounge by the water (it has hidden reclining sun pad where you’d imagine a garage door to be) or to store a tender or jet ski (no need tough – the garage is spacy enough).

Few steps up to the cockpit area and we notice a family resemblance to Sunseeker 90 Ocean: a smartly organized area with sofa and tables facing the sea with opening glass transom gates. The open gates give you access to sea, the closed configuration gives more safety in case you’re going out to sea with kids or even a pet, and in general it belongs to the new generation of carefully designed sterns of Sunseekers.

The sliding doors take us to the main salon, a huge space full of light thanks to panoramic windows on the sides. Air-conditioned and noise-isolated with closed doors, a salon like this is the perfect escape place from marina’s hectic life. If you’re going to spend an evening at anchor throwing a party or if you prefer a large common space, the saloon can easily be united with the open air of the cockpit.

There is also a formal dining area in the middle – a feature still much needed for certain type of weather conditions, while most situations will allow you to eat at al fresco dining zone. Moving further we find a lobby with wine storage and a day head with a big window. This indicates Sunseeker 100 Yacht was very much inspired by superyachts where you always have a day head up on the main deck to avoid guests wandering on lower deck.

On the foredeck these is the owner’s suite beginning with massive walk-in wardrobe and make-up table converting to a desk, it is definitely the highlight of the yacht. The master cabin also features big windows with comfortable sofas to enjoy your sea view on the go and a spacious bath room.

However, the main attraction awaits further, at the forward part of master cabin, where panoramic curved sliding doors open into the owner’s terrace at the bow, an absolutely stunning private area where the future owner of Sunseeker 100 Yacht will always find a quiet sanctuary for reading, sunbathing, working or for a drink or two before the dinner.

And what about the guests? The future owner of Sunseeker 100 Yacht gets a chance to have family and/or friends aboard accommodated comfortably in four double cabins on the lower deck. And the crew gets its designated space for five members including well equipped crew mess and easy access to the galley and storages.

Just a few steps up from the owner’s private terrace we find ourselves in the sunbathing area on the upper deck in front of the pilot house window. From here we can easily access the flybridge. The seamless access from the flybridge to foredeck and to the owner’s private terrace makes Sunseeker 100 unique on the current yacht market. The flybridge is truly the center of life on the exteriors of this boat.

The RPH configuration means there is no need for the second helm post, which makes the flybridge a hundred percent social area. There is a couple of cozy sofa corners, a dining table for 12, and a fully equipped bar with the electric grill. At the bow area there is a jacuzzi with infinity effect allowing you to enjoy the sea view from inside the pool. And the teak layered steps won’t let you slip or feel uncomfortable when you get from the spa-pool to one of the sun pads surrounding it.

With Sunseeker 100 Yacht appearing on the market almost a year ago it is interesting to know that two of these yachts are cruising Croatia this summer, with the owner in own isolated area, but still very conveniently linked with the center of life aboard. Happy owner and happy crew are key to the success of every popular yacht.
