The final blast of a ship’s horn at 6:00 PM on Sunday marked the conclusion of the most successful Dalmatia Boat Show to date. Held at the Marina Baotić, the four-day international event transformed the marina into a high-season hub, characterized by world-class vessels, a surge of international visitors, and a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere.

In just its third year, the Dalmatia Boat Show has solidified its position as a premier industry event. This year’s figures tell a story of rapid growth, welcoming 15,000 visitors from across Europe and hosting a record 180 exhibitors. The display featured 200 vessels in total, ranging from nimble day-boats to luxury yachts.

The event underscored a growing trend in the nautical world: the irreplaceable value of 'in-water' spring boat shows. While indoor exhibitions have their place, industry insiders agree that the Mediterranean spring offers a backdrop that no convention hall can replicate.

Throughout the four-day showcase, the sun and sea provided the perfect stage. The marina’s pontoons remained packed, and the social scene was equally vibrant. The terraces of Marina Baotić’s restaurants and poolside bars were filled with a multilingual crowd, mirroring the energy usually reserved for the peak of summer.

Beyond the spectacle, the Dalmatia Boat Show serves as the official opening of the Adriatic nautical season. It has become the essential meeting point for the entire supply chain from manufacturers and technicians to domestic and international buyers. Željko Baotić, the organizer and owner of Marina Baotić, reflected on the event’s rapid trajectory:

'We are only on our third edition, yet we have already become a vital node for the nautical sector, not just in Croatia but internationally. Growing from 120 exhibitors at the start to 180 this year proves we have found the right time and place. April is the ideal moment, and our existing year-round infrastructure provides a significant advantage.'

Baotić also highlighted the unique economic impact of the event and the marina, noting that while only 1% of the boaters in the marina are locals, 99% of the workforce is Croatian. This dynamic provides immense value and stability to the local industry.

The Dalmatia Boat Show will return to Seget Donji for its fourth edition, officially scheduled for April 15 to 18, 2027.
