GrECo Marine operates as a Managing General Agent (MGA) and Marine Specialty branch of GrECo Specialty GmbH. Its core mission is developing tailor-made insurance solutions for yachts and pleasure craft, as well as ports, freight handlers, cargo ships, and other complex marine risks.

For yacht owners, charter operators, and the broader nautical industry, this translates to accessing solutions molded around real-world sailing conditions. Key benefits include flexible coverage and rapid quote generation across multiple markets, particularly for cross-border and non-standard risks.

GrECo Marine has already forged strong partnerships with leading insurers in Croatia and the wider region. Concurrently, it is expanding its capacities into European markets such as Italy, Greece, Malta, and the Baltics. The unit is also in the process of securing status as an authorized Lloyd’s coverholder with its own binding authority. Furthermore, dedicated GrECo Marine wordings for recreational vessels (yachts and private boats) are being developed to further strengthen the specialist offering for vessel owners and operators.

'Our goal is to set a higher benchmark connecting clients with the right capacities, structuring coverage swiftly and precisely, and ensuring that our solutions truly align with how people sail and do business at sea today.'
