Navis Marine: Croatia's Premier Yacht Sales Authority
Navis Marine continues its rapid growth with new offices in Slovenia and the Czech Republic. Their new Monaco hub makes history as the first Croatian-led company to reach Europe's yachting heart
Navis Marine, based in Zagreb, is Croatia’s leading yacht sales company representing nine premium brands, including Azimut-Benetti. The company provides comprehensive sales, charter management, and yacht management services.
Following recent expansion with a new office in Ljubljana (Slovenia), and with offices in Prague and Monaco set to open soon alongside strengthened operations across multiple Adriatic locations, Navis Marine is well-positioned to capture the growing demand in the European luxury yacht market, projected to reach USD 8.4 billion by 2034.
The foundation of the company’s growth is simple: Navis Marine doesn’t just sell yachts – it manages every aspect of the ownership process, ensuring an enjoyable and seamless journey for clients. Looking ahead, the company sees opportunities in geographic expansion, digital innovation, and sustainability consulting as it strengthens its role in the evolving maritime industry.
Navis Marine, headquartered in Zagreb, founded and led by Gordan Zadro, operates with a mission to transform yacht ownership into an unforgettable adventure by providing comprehensive services that extend far beyond simple transactions. With a team of more than 10 dedicated maritime professionals, Navis Marine has cultivated a reputation for delivering personalized service and expertise to discerning yacht owners and enthusiasts worldwide.
The organization's core philosophy centres on understanding that purchasing a yacht represents a lifetime commitment rather than a mere consumer transaction. This approach has guided Navis Marine's strategic positioning within the luxury maritime industry, where relationships and trust form the foundation of business success. The company maintains that exceptional after-sale service stands as one of the most critical components of client satisfaction, a principle that has driven significant investment in after-sales support.
Navis Marine's strategic location in Croatia, coupled with its extensive understanding of the Adriatic region, has positioned the company as an ideal intermediary for clients seeking to purchase, charter, or manage luxury vessels. The company operates multiple offices across the region, with primary headquarters in Zagreb and additional coast offices in Split, Trogir, Montenegro, and Slovenia, with the most recent expansion occurring in Ljubljana in May 2025.
For longer time, to strengthen its regional presence in Serbia, Navis Marine collaborates with a sub-dealer in Belgrade, a respected and well-established luxury automotive and lifestyle company. Next step is to establish a top-tier showroom and sales office in Prague, positioned in a prime location to attract high-net-worth clients and capitalize on the city’s role as the financial and cultural hub of Central Europe.
In parallel with the planned Azimut expansion into the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Navis will also establish a new ‘Navis Marine Exclusive’ office in Monaco, located in a prime position at Port Hercule, one of the world’s most prestigious yachting destinations. This new location will serve as an international sales and brokerage hub.
The Monaco presence will further elevate the company’s profile within the global yachting community, strengthen relationships with international clients, and complement the Central European expansion by connecting Adriatic-based clients with the broader Mediterranean market.
Navis Marine represents an impressive portfolio of nine distinct yacht brands, each selected for their quality, innovation, and reputation within the luxury maritime industry. The company has cultivated exclusive distribution and brokerage relationships with these manufacturers, enabling clients access to an extensive selection of both new and pre-owned vessels. These brands span various market segments, from performance-oriented speedboats to large yachts, ensuring that Navis Marine can address diverse client preferences and requirements.
While comprehensive financial data for Navis Marine as a yacht brokerage is limited in publicly available sources, the global luxury yacht market demonstrates significant expansion opportunities. The global yacht market was valued at USD 12.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow from USD 13 billion in 2025 to USD 22.7 billion by 2034.
Within Europe specifically, the luxury yacht market reached USD 3.8 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow to USD 8.4 billion by 2034 at an annual rate of 9.6 percent, positioning Navis Marine within a rapidly expanding market segment. The European luxury yacht segment, where Navis Marine operates as a leading player for their brands, has shown particular strength.
The motor yacht segment – accounting for 76 percent of the European luxury yacht market – is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10 percent through 2034. Yachts in the 24–45-meter range dominate the global market with a 64.04 percent share in 2024, a category in which Navis Marine maintains significant representation through its brand portfolio.
Navis Marine also maintains a large charter fleet of luxury yachts in the Adriatic region, having earned owner trust through proven ability to maximize yacht bookings and manage growing fleet operations successfully. Company leadership emphasizes that Navis Marine does not merely sell yachts but creates extraordinary experiences on the water, reflecting the maritime passion shared by staff and clients alike. What surprised many is the real price tag of yachting.
For example, you could own a premium yacht with only 30 percent capital investment through tailored leasing solutions. This model allows you to step into ownership immediately while preserving liquidity and spreading the remaining cost over flexible, predictable monthly payments – making luxury yachting more accessible than ever.
In the other hand, technological advancement within the yachting industry is opening new avenues for innovation and differentiation. The increasing adoption of digital yacht management platforms, for example, aligns with areas where Navis Marine is already developing specialized expertise and service offerings.
At the same time, the industry itself is on the brink of meaningful disruption. Many observers note that the yacht sector still operates with significant room for modernization, particularly in the areas of digital sales tools, transparent transaction processes, and enhanced customer experience.
Navis Marine has firmly established itself as the Adriatic region’s premier New Yacht Sales and brokerage companies through strategic brand partnerships, comprehensive service offerings, and an unwavering commitment to personalized client care.
Representing nine distinguished yacht and boat brands – ranging from cutting-edge superyachts to high-performance motorboats and specialized Mediterranean designs – the company is uniquely positioned to meet the diverse preferences of luxury yacht buyers across all market segments.
At the helm of this success is Gordan Zadro, the founder and CEO who turned a boutique vision into a regional leader. Since the company’s inception, Zadro has steered Navis Marine toward becoming the first Croatian company in Europe’s yachting epicenters.
DID YOU EXPECT NAVIS TO ARRIVE WHERE IT IS TODAY?
From the very beginning, I believed in the potential, but the journey has truly exceeded even my highest expectations. I started with a clear vision – to build a boutique company grounded in expertise, trust, and long-term relationships. What I couldn’t fully anticipate was how quickly the market would recognize and appreciate that philosophy. While we always aimed high, seeing the company reach its current position – and continue to evolve – has been both incredibly rewarding and deeply motivating for me.
WHAT WAS THE MAIN REASON BEHIND THE SUCCESS?
The main reason behind our success has been a consistent focus on quality – both in the products we represent and the service we provide. From day one, we made it a priority to work with top-tier shipyards whose values align with ours, ensuring that every boat and yacht we present stands for craftsmanship, reliability, and innovation. Building trust, being transparent, providing honest guidance, and maintaining long-term relationships with clients have been at the core of everything we do.
WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF THE COMPANY?
The future of Navis Marine is defined by continued growth, deeper regional presence, and a continuous commitment to elevating the yachting experience across the Adriatic and beyond. Since my founding of Navis Marine in 2010, we have built a good reputation in new sales, brokerage, charter management, and yacht consulting. Looking ahead, our focus remains on innovation, client experience, and personalized service. Ultimately, the future of Navis Marine is about creating nice experiences on the water – offering clients more choice, more access, and a team that supports them at every step of their yachting journey.
