YARE Concludes Sixteenth Edition with Over 2600 Business Meetings

The sixteenth edition of the Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience (YARE) in Viareggio has concluded, reinforcing the Tuscan nautical district as a primary international hub for the superyacht refit and services industry. The event hosted over 100 superyacht captains and 150 companies from the global marine supply chain, facilitating more than 2600 business meetings through its digital platform.
The program featured technical tours of regional shipyards, including Sanlorenzo Duerre, Seven Stars Marina & Shipyard, Amer Yachts, and Next Yacht Group facilities. These visits allowed participants to observe production processes and discuss innovations in sustainability and high performance yachting.
Industry dialogue remained a core focus. The YARE International Forum, moderated by Martin Redmayne, gathered leaders like David Margason, Federico Rossi, and Alberto Perrone to analyze market pressures. Additionally, 'The Big Med Debate' facilitated discussions on Mediterranean infrastructure, while the City of Durban presented itself as an emerging destination for the sector.
A gala dinner at Via Coppino highlighted the event, drawing over 600 professionals to Viareggio’s boatbuilding district for a networking evening set against a backdrop of illuminated water displays. The event concluded with the signature 'B2C Meet the Captains' sessions, operational workshops, and the 'Anchor's Up! Night on Course' networking gathering.
