Baglietto’s New DOM155: Redefining the Roman Domus Concept at Sea
Following the success of the DOM133 and DOM115, Baglietto unveils the DOM155, a 44-metre displacement yacht under 500 GT that elevates the defining qualities of its DOM line. Designed for owners who embrace the Roman domus concept at sea, warm, welcoming, and refined, the DOM155 offers larger volumes, enhanced liveability, and unmistakable family styling.
The exterior, described by Stefano Vafiadis as clean and sculptural, features taut volumes and longitudinal cuts inspired by automotive design. Aluminium construction ensures customization, improved performance, and a shallow draft, making it particularly appealing to the American market.
At the stern, a panoramic infinity pool anchors a versatile space that doubles as a wellness area or an additional garage for a tender, complemented by a swimming platform with transformer access. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and open layouts create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor lounges. The main deck hosts the owner’s suite with office, walk-in closet, and master bathroom, while four guest cabins and eight crew cabins are located on the lower deck.
The upper deck saloon offers panoramic views and outdoor dining, while the 130-square-metre sun deck features 360-degree vistas, sunbathing, a conversation lounge, and an infinity pool with integrated bar. Twin CAT C32 engines deliver a top speed of 16 knots, combining elegance, performance, and comfort in one flagship package.
