Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi (FIM) has launched a specialized Tender Division, bringing an 'atelier approach' to the superyacht arena. Designed for owners, captains, and shipyards, the division delivers highly customized support vessels tailored to the exact style and service profile of the mothership.

Inaugurating the line is the TT9 Open, a 9.40-meter carbon composite tender engineered to superyacht standards. Seamlessly blending utility with luxury, it operates as a chase boat, guest tender, or independent day boat. FIM has already secured its first sale, with hull number one destined for a 70-meter superyacht.

'With this division, we enter a technical, selective segment where the tender is an essential element of the large-yacht experience,' says Corrado Piccinelli, founder and CEO of FIM. 'The TT9 Open responds to precise operational needs while maintaining construction quality, aesthetic taste, and Italian identity.'

The carbon fiber construction minimizes weight for stable, precise maneuvering. On board, the layout prioritizes logistical efficiency, featuring a central aft passage for seamless guest boarding and adaptable forward seating that offers weather protection without compromising the boat's clean profile.

This bespoke philosophy underpins FIM’s expanding portfolio, which already includes two upcoming models: the enclosed TT9 Limo for maximum privacy, and the TX9 Taxi Tender, purpose-built for high-end boutique hospitality.
