New Maiora 36 Exuma Debuts with ELIE SAAB Maison Styling
Following the great success at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Maiora arrives at the Monaco Yacht Show to unveil the new 36 Exuma, a majestic yacht that renews the brand’s tradition by achieving the perfect balance between elegance, ultimate comfort, high performance, and generous volumes, making it unique in its category.
To celebrate its collaboration with ELIE SAAB Maison, Maiora will welcome guests in an exclusive exhibition space at the Appontement Jules Soccal, the most prestigious area of the show. The new seafront lounge, specially designed and fully furnished by ELIE SAAB Maison, strengthens the synergy between the two design houses, offering a refined environment that highlights their shared values of luxury, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Measuring 36.90 meters in length with a beam of 7.90 meters, the new 36 Exuma is spread over four decks and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. The owner’s suite is located on the upper deck, complemented by four guest cabins, two of which are VIP suites on the lower deck with direct sea views. The crew area includes three cabins for up to 5 members.
The exterior lines, developed in collaboration between Maiora and Quartostile, stand out with their fluid, organic design, combining formal purity with functionality. The project stems from a dual objective: on one hand, to align aesthetics with the shipyard’s new vision, ensuring linearity, dynamic tension, and an imposing presence; on the other, to enhance onboard livability and comfort with innovative solutions such as a full-beam bow and a stern redesigned as a true sea-level living space.
Expansive windows and visual continuity between interior and exterior strengthen the connection with the environment, while innovative details - such as integrated stern chaise longues and a suspended bow net - introduce new ways to enjoy relaxation and natural light.
The interiors, designed by Acube Design, feature a contemporary style defined by material harmony and design consistency. Soft curves, natural palettes, and premium leathers combine with fine woods and fabrics to create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Marble details and continuous parquet add refinement and visual coherence, while extensive customization options allow owners to tailor every detail to their personal taste.
The main deck welcomes guests with a generous beach area designed for direct sea enjoyment, a large teak sundeck, and a raised cockpit that enhances conviviality. Inside, the saloon features a flush deck layout that eliminates steps, emphasizing spaciousness. It integrates a large living area and a redesigned lounge bar with smooth, elegant shapes. The iconic infinity sliding door - hallmark of the Exuma line - provides uninterrupted sightlines from bow to stern. At the bow, the full-beam owner’s suite includes a private study, a spacious bathroom, and a 360° panoramic view.
The lower deck hosts the guest cabins, including two VIP suites with private bathrooms and direct sea views, along with two garages: one transversal garage accommodating a tender up to 6.25 meters, and one aft garage for toys and jet skis. Crew quarters, with three cabins for five people and a complete dinette, have been optimized for privacy, efficiency, and comfort, also utilizing the forward bow section.
The upper deck is the heart of onboard life: the 'al fresco' saloon, with infinity openings and wide windows, transforms into a true sea terrace, adaptable as an open-air or air-conditioned space. This deck also houses the wheelhouse and, at the bow, a panoramic pool surrounded by a large sundeck.
To complete the experience, a suspended net over the water offers a direct, sensory connection with the sea. The sun deck, conceived as a suspended nest, represents the most intimate and private space: a retreat dedicated to relaxation, silence, and contemplation of the horizon.
Thanks to its triple waterjet propulsion system, the Maiora 36 Exuma reaches a top speed of 33 knots while maintaining quietness, stability, and onboard comfort. With a displacement of 180 tons and a reduced draft of 1.45 meters, it is highly agile and ideal for reaching shallow bays and anchorages.
The 36 Exuma is the synthesis of a formal and functional research without equal. Majesty, dynamism, and livability intertwine in a balance that makes this yacht not only a design object, but a true living experience in continuous dialogue with the sea.
