Wellcraft is pushing further into high-performance territory with the introduction of the Wellcraft 33 T-Top and Wellcraft 33 Speedster. Designed around a shared platform, the two models focus on increased deck volume, higher top-end speeds, and genuine offshore capability while maintaining day-boating versatility.

Aiming at the competitive 33-foot performance segment, the platform balances multi-role functionality, assertive styling, and accessible value. The Wellcraft 33 T-Top will make its World Premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Wellcraft designed the 33-series around real-world use, balancing high-speed running with social entertaining and overnight accommodation for up to two berths below.

While the bow cockpit serves as an open social hub, the aft section offers three distinct layout configurations based on owner preference:

  • The LOUNGE (Standard): Designed for maximum seating capacity and casual entertaining, featuring a fixed L-shaped bench, a removable composite table, and integrated stowage beneath.
  • The RELAX (Option): Converts the aft cockpit into a sunbathing space centered around a large three-person sunbed with foldable backrests, an aft-facing U-shaped dining area with infill cushions, and an additional forward-facing bench.
  • The BARRACUDA (Option, T-Top Exclusive): Geared toward fishing, incorporating five stern rod holders, a 150-liter macerated fish box, a 120-liter livewell, a prep station with wet bar and tackle storage, plus optional hardtop rocket launchers and radial outriggers.

Underneath the signature Z-design profile lies a purposeful offshore hull. Developed in collaboration with naval architecture firm Navia Design, the twin-stepped hull is engineered to cut through aggressive chop, plane rapidly, and maintain tracking and stability at speeds topping 50 knots.

Power choices are equally potent. Owners can spec the transom with single or twin Mercury V8 or V10 outboard options, yielding a combined output ranging from 350 HP up to 700 HP. At the helm, everything centers on the captain. The console combines high-end Garmin displays, audio integration, and functional air vents to maintain clear visibility and control in demanding sea states.

Practical details are evident throughout the layout. A broad side dive door provides safe water access, while functional elements like heavy-duty rub rails, durable marine upholstery, and a thru-hull anchor arm support its offshore focus. Structural construction relies on Wellcraft’s proprietary W.I.S.E. technology (Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering). By fusing the hull and stringer system into a single lightweight, ultra-stiff structure through resin infusion and injection, the process improves the overall power-to-weight ratio while optimizing material efficiency.
