The new superyacht from the popular Navetta line combines modern design with the highest standards of luxury and comfort, and her sophisticated interiors work in harmony with the sea
It would take at least ten pages to describe any model of the beloved Custom Line, and the latest among them, the Navetta 38 is just as interesting. We had the opportunity to get to know her at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, and we’ll do our best to present this impressive, magnificent yacht in less than those ten pages.
Exterior
The Navetta 38 is the latest addition to the distinguished Navetta line produced by an Italian shipyard, and with her 38.76 meters length and eight meters berth, as well as her 299 GT, she is without any doubt a superyacht. Her external lines, designed – just like those of all other Custom Line models – by Filippo Salvetti are proud to be those of a superyacht.
With her three decks, tall hull and bow rising all the way to the second deck, the large bridge on the second deck, as well as generous side windows on the hull complemented by openings on the first and second decks (which allow for even larger side windows and create V-shaped spaces contrasting the pyramidal supports of the hardtop), the new Custom Line Navetta 38 is a unique, visually striking yacht.
The main deck
Salon and living room
Astern, the spacious aft platform with a central part lowers into a private beach that can be expanded with side terraces. The stern garage is equipped with a sliding system to help with tender launching.
The spacious platform and its side terraces open up to the impressive surface of 70 square meters. One step farther toward the bow, the main deck salon combines the functionality of the living room (large sofa on the port side) and the dining area (table for ten towards the bow).
Large side windows allow daylight to pour in, while doors placed strategically on both sides of the dining table give the space access to fresh air, allowing guests to dine with the window half open.
All this airiness is nicely complemented by the warmth of the décor, from the classic oak and teak floors to the ribbed oak ceiling that made us want to touch it – even though it was a bit too high to reach, just over two meters overall. Finally, woven Raffa wallpapers repeat the same nice tactile and visual warmth, with a little help from rounded joints of the walls, floors and ceiling.

These wonderful spaces were all designed by the Custom Line Atelier, whose designers respected the owner’s ideas and wishes, and the same style is echoed throughout the interior, in all cabins, including in the main deck master on the bow.
Master cabin
The master boasts 40 square meters of space, with a large private bathroom allowing perfect comfort and practicality.

Galley and guest cabins
Also on the main deck, the spacious galley is connected by a dedicated staircase to crew cabins in the bow, while a wonderful leather-covered staircase leads to the leather-covered corridor that connects all the guest cabins in the hull. There are four cabins in total: two spacious VIP cabins in the stern, with large double beds, and two slightly smaller guest cabins, one of which has two single beds. All cabins come with large private bathrooms.
The upper deck
Salon
While the main deck was designed and appointed for dining, entertaining and frolicking at sea, the upper deck is a place to enjoy navigation, starting with the second salon, whose large sliding glazed surfaces open the view towards the sea. This salon, as well as the main deck salon, are equipped with Bang & Olufsen audio systems, indicating that the owner of this particular yacht is very fond of music.
Aft
Upper deck aft, there is a dining table that seats ten in a protected outdoor dining area, as well as a large sofa.
Bow
On the bow, in front of the second command console, there is a lovely outdoor salon with two sofas enjoying full view over the bow, two folding tables and five deckchairs with adaptable backrests, hiding the jet ski storage. On the very tip of the bow, there is another sunpad, for the very brave, placed in front of the anchor winches and the bell.
Command post
The most important element on this deck is the supersized command post, large enough to proudly stand on a 50-meter megayacht. Placed in a semicircular space, with a large windshield, the bridge enjoys excellent visibility. It’s ominously, but stylishly black, with three separate consoles with large navigation instruments and a classic steering wheel – a lovely touch on a yacht this size. Behind the command console, is the capitan’s cabin with a private bathroom.
The sun deck

The third deck is easily reached via the external staircase: the sun deck boasts 65 square meters of space, and is mostly protected by massive hardtop, covering the bar, freestanding chairs and deckchairs. The railing on the bow part is almost entirely glazed, allowing the eyes to roam across the bow.
The most impressive part of the sun deck, in our opinion, is the very aft, with an elevated terrace in teak, with two deckchairs and a jacuzzi between them, all enjoying uninterrupted views of the open sea.
Cruising
Powered by two 1400hp MAN engines, the new Custom Line Navetta 38 reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots, while at a cruising speed of 10 knots she boasts autonomy up to 2,800 miles. The builder’s efforts to reduce emissions have led to the installation of catalytic converters that neutralize over 70 percent of NOx emissions.
Naiad stabilizers, two NG18 and one NG9 Sekakeper gyro stabilizer all make sure stability in navigation is impeccable. This latest model in the already beloved Custom Line confirms that the builder has set new standards in terms of quality, style and practical solutions, all working to raise even superyachts like this one to a new level in terms of comfort and joy of navigation.
