The CroYA Yacht Charter Show once again proved why it became one of the Adriatic’s most relevant industry events in such a short time bringing together yachts that are not only visually impressive but most importantly: well prepared for charter.

Instead of the noise of large exhibitions, CroYA focuses on meaningful conversations with crews, captains and managers who shape the upcoming season.

You can find our full CroYA report here.

From this year’s carefully curated lineup, four yachts stood out — not only for their design, comfort and upgrades, but for the insights shared in our interviews with their captains and managers. These conversations revealed the philosophy and personality behind each vessel, offering a clearer picture of what makes them exceptional choices for a luxury yacht charter in Croatia.

ARAGO – Sunseeker 34M

ARAGO carries the confidence of a true Sunseeker: clean lines, a refreshed interior and the calm certainty of a yacht that performs well under pressure. Built in 2009 and recently refitted, she features a master cabin on the main deck, a generous flybridge with Jacuzzi and stabilisers that make her especially attractive for families discovering Croatia for the first time.

Her captain, Vicko Ruić, has spent most of his career on Sunseekers and sums up his bond with ARAGO in one sentence: “This ship provides bread for my entire crew. It’s our home.”

His approach to chartering is disarmingly simple: a good week is the one where guests disembark relaxed and smiling. He encourages them to let go of tension, trust the crew and allow the itinerary to develop around real conditions, rather than a rigid checklist. One guest confided at the end of the cruise that this was his last wish – a final trip with his family – a moment that, as Vicko admits, reshaped the way he views his job and the responsibility that comes with it.

LADY GITA – 49m Luxury Motor Sailer

LADY GITA is one of the most recognisable names in Croatia’s luxury motor-sailer fleet, a segment in which the country has become internationally known. With six spacious ensuite cabins, a luminous salon with panoramic windows and a vast flybridge that naturally turns into the social centre of the yacht, she offers the feel of a floating boutique hotel with the easy charm of life under sail.

Captain Antonio Ković, who is also the owner, runs the yacht with a rare blend of emotional investment and discipline: “I make all the decisions – routes, equipment, service. It’s a challenge, but I enjoy it.”

He rarely mentions that he is also the owner of the yacht until guests ask about the name; Gita is named after his daughter. His charter philosophy is built on reading people: understanding whether they want privacy or conversation, quiet anchorages or lively evenings, and then building the week around that. It is a tailored, intuitive style of hospitality that explains why so many guests return – last season, the majority of charters were repeat bookings.

Antonio admits that Komiža is a shared favourite for both crew and guests, a place that still carries the kind of authenticity many travellers quietly hope to find in the Adriatic.

INSIEME – Princess 85 Fly

INSIEME is a strong reminder that a yacht does not need to be the largest in the marina to leave a lasting impression. After a careful refit, her interior feels warm, contemporary and uncluttered, complemented by a flybridge with Jacuzzi and a layout that works particularly well for families travelling together.

Captain Stipe Peran, who has been with the yacht for several seasons along with a stable, loyal crew, described the key to INSIEME’s success very plainly: “All yachts cruise the same sea. The difference is sincerity.”

He emphasises respecting guests as individuals, offering honest advice rather than simply agreeing to every idea and creating itineraries that make sense for the weather, the route and the group in front of him. Over time, this approach has built a base of returning clients who feel they are coming back to people they know, not just a boat they recognise.

In his stories, there is a recurring image: guests quietly taking in the pine trees and bays at dawn, paddleboarding in silence or drifting away from the yacht for an hour simply to enjoy the feeling of being at sea with no agenda. It is this slower rhythm, combined with an engaged crew, that gives INSIEME its particular charm.

SILENT WORLD – IAG 40M

SILENT WORLD arrived at the show as a newcomer to the Adriatic: a 40-metre tri-deck motor yacht, freshly certified for charter and standing on the threshold of a major refit. With six cabins, including a full-beam master suite with private office, and extensive deck areas on three levels, she already offers impressive volume for guests who value space and separation.

Technical and operations manager Dimos Sakakos from Touch Adriatic outlined the next steps in the yacht’s evolution: “We are doing a major refit – new stabilisers, new watermakers, new interiors… everything.”

Although she was built in China, SILENT WORLD is equipped with European and American machinery and systems, which Dimos sees as a solid technical foundation for long-term charter operations. For him, the success of any yacht project also depends on crew well-being and the quality of technical spaces – areas where this yacht, he notes, is particularly strong.

When comparing cruising areas, he points out that the Adriatic, and especially the Croatian coast, offers more predictable weather than the Cyclades, along with bays that naturally invite longer, quieter stays at anchor. It is exactly this combination that makes SILENT WORLD an intriguing addition to the regional fleet.

Taken together, ARAGO, LADY GITA, INSIEME and SILENT WORLD illustrate where the Adriatic charter market is heading: towards authentic service, strong crew culture, thoughtful design and itineraries that prioritise real experiences over simple checklists of destinations. They are four very different yachts, but each in its own way shows why Croatia continues to hold such strong appeal for discerning charter guests.
