More than 150 exhibitors, 200 vessels, a remarkable 72 brands, and 15 premieres – a spectacular second edition of the international nautical fair has been announced at Marina Baotić in Seget Donji, taking place from April 10th to 13th

The second edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show promises to be even more spectacular. An increased number of exhibitors and vessels are expected both on land and at sea in the unique Marina Baotić in Seget Donji, which spans over 140,000 square meters and has been one of the most attractive nautical tourism destinations since 2011. At a time when the number of exhibitors is decreasing at similar fairs worldwide, this is welcome news for the international nautical fair in the heart of Dalmatia.

‘Despite the downturn in the nautical industry, our fair, which we are organizing for only the second year, has achieved excellent results. From April 10th to 13th, the Dalmatia Boat Show will host 150 exhibitors, feature 200 vessels on land and at sea, 72 brands, and 15 vessel premieres that will be unveiled to the world for the first time right here in Croatia. I am proud of my team because it is not easy to increase the number of exhibitors by as much as 25 percent in these nautical circumstances. In addition to over 100,000 square meters at sea, Marina Baotić boasts something that few marinas in Croatia have: more than 40,000 square meters of dry berths with excellent infrastructure,’ emphasized Željko Baotić, owner of Marina Baotić and initiator of the Dalmatia Boat Show.

Aleksandra Bujević, a member of the Dalmatia Boat Show’s organizing team, highlighted that this year’s exhibitors are coming from Croatia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Serbia.

‘Among the 15 premieres, I would particularly like to emphasize the presentation of the De Antonio E23 electric boat, and this year we are once again placing special emphasis on marine conservation and sustainable tourism. We are also focused on promoting Seget Donji, Dalmatia, and Croatia as a top nautical destination. We have prepared a rich entertainment and educational program, along with an excellent gastronomic offer,’ said Aleksandra Bujević.

We have singled out several examples of the second edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show worthy of special attention.

From the game of the most propulsive Spanish manufacturer comes the DeAntonio E23 model, a seven-meter open catamaran different from anything else on the market. It is a fully electric vessel powered by a Torqueedo Deep Blue outboard motor with a power of 50 kilowatts.

The extremely spacious concept of a day cruiser will impress passengers with its comfort, but also with silent sailing for the most beautiful experience of the Adriatic. If needed, the energy-efficient hull with a transverse hydrofoil also has its wild side as it is capable of sailing at a speed of up to 30 knots.

Of course, it is recommended to sail in accordance with the ecological character in order to make the best use of the 40 kWh lithium battery range. At a speed of 20 knots, the range is 25 nautical miles, while it reaches 50 miles if sailing at five miles per hour. For the daily needs of most users, this is quite sufficient, while for returning the capacity to 90 percent, you can choose a fast charger for 90 minutes or overnight in the marina on a standard socket for eight hours.

Two hulls are in trend, which was recognized by the creators of the first motor catamaran produced in Croatia – Makai M37. With rich experience in international shipbuilding, they have created a product intended for owners eager for additional stability, but also sporty comfort.

Shaping the boat in the spirit of modern cars with two diesel engines with 320 horsepower each, they achieve a speed of 35 knots. The Italian-designed interior offers two spacious cabins with separate bathrooms, and a luxurious summer space in the cockpit.

Due to its innovativeness, Makai Yachts has been nominated for several professional awards, and Hanse 360 won the most prestigious possible award in Düsseldorf in January – European Yacht of the Year.

Hanse’s award-winning yacht, created in collaboration with the Berret-Racoupeau design studio, stands out for its spaciousness for the 11-meter class, adaptable interior layout and excellent sailing performance, thanks to the retractable bowsprit. Innovative details for this class are a grill and refrigerator in the cockpit, and the possibility of a separate owner’s toilet.

This year’s fair includes exhibitors such as Nautika centar Nava, Aventur with Astondoa Ax8 and 377 Coupe boat models, Grand Yachting with Pardo yachts, Croatia Yachting, among others.

‘I was delighted by the positive feedback following the first edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show. Exhibitors were highly satisfied, with nearly all of them returning this year. I have an outstanding team working tirelessly on the event, and we are ambitious about becoming the leading nautical fair in this part of Europe. I am confident we are on the right path’, concluded the owner of Marina Baotić.
