With the addition of an aerodynamic windshield, the stylish Italian has turned into a safe and fun partner for longer cruises

After the successful of 43 Seawalker, Italian shipyard Fiart started developing model Panorama, which debuted this year in Cannes. Fiart’s design team developed the model in-house, creating a more versatile yacht suitable for longer cruises and vacations.

Unboxing the Fiart 43 Seawalker Panorama’s Secrets

The most significant innovation on this model is the addition of the aerodynamic windshield, which is perfectly joined to the hard top and gives the model an elegant look and provides excellent protection from the sun and wind, and can serves as platform for installing solar panels.

The Helm Station That Puts You in Control

We tested the new Panorama early one morning, while the September sun was rising from the horizon above the serene Tyrrhenian Sea. Protected by a windshield that turns into a transparent hard top above our heads, we enjoyed the view as we slowly increased speed, propelled forward by two silent 480-hp Volvo Penta engines coupled with IPS 650S transmission.

The space at the sporty command post dominated by two large Garmin screens providing engine performance data and navigation data provides exceptional of comfort and excellent visibility in all directions.

The Seaworthiness of the Seawalker Panorama

The throttle lever is sensitive and the yacht reacts with agility to every move, and planning began at 15 knots and 1400 rpm. We reached cruising speed of 26 knots at 2300 rpm, with a consumption of 110 liters per hour, while the highest speed we achieved was 37 knots at 3700 rpm and consumption reaching 185 l/h.

Turns at full speed were executed with precision and without splashing, tilting, or skidding, while the high windshield protected all the passengers on board from the wind. The noise insulation of the engine is excellent, so we could talk to the sales manager of Fiart even at full speed without having to raise our voices.

When we decided to slow down, the yacht once again demonstrated excellence, executing the maneuver without any water spilling over the aft platform.

The stern and bow of the ship are basically spacious sundecks, both with several cup holders, both accessible via wide passages on both sides, ensuring safe access at anchor and in navigation.

Astern, there is a large platform that can accommodate a jet ski or an inflatable tender. The central part of the cockpit, protected by a hard top, hosts a large table with six seats, and a fully equipped galley with a refrigerator and a sink. This space, well protected from the strong daytime sun or evening humidity, is where guests will probably spend the most time during the time at anchor or in marinas.

The master in the bow has a double bed

The entrance to the lower deck is to the left of the command console, with a staircase leading to a small lounge. There, one comfortable sofa next to the port-side window offers an excellent view of the sea.

The lower deck is large enough for two cabins; the master in the bow, with a double bed and a private head with a shower cabin, and a guest cabin aft, with two separate beds just under two meters in length.

Large windows and, selected fabrics and materials, and light pastel colors provide a sense of harmony and spaciousness, while a large number of drawers, compartments and wardrobes provide enough space for everything needed during longer cruises.
