Adriatic Events: Summer Ahead

10 July – Dubrovnik Summer Festival (Dubrovnik)

The festival opens with three major premieres: "Fisherman’s Quarrels," "Medea," and "The Seagull," directed by renowned theatre artists. The programme runs until 25 August at various historic locations.

10–17 July – Pula Film Festival (Pula)

14 July – Opening of Split Summer Festival (Split)

With over 60 performances of opera, drama, concerts, and exhibitions until mid-August across 14 stages, this festival merges ancient architecture with modern art.

15 July – Marko Tolja Concert (Mali Lošinj)

17 July – Osor Musical Evenings (Osor)

The 50th edition of this classical music festival opens with a rich international lineup in the historical setting of Osor.

17–19 July – Mrduja Tug-of-War (Milna, Brač)

Brač and Šolta locals tug the islet of Mrduja in this quirky competition. The main event is on 19 July, surrounded by concerts and parties.

18 July – Hooverphonic Concert (Luštica Bay)

World-famous Belgian band Hooverphonic brings electronic pop and cinematic vibes to the scenic breakwater stage in Marina Village.

18–19 July – TOČ 2025 (Nin)

This boutique outdoor festival celebrates slow living through food, workshops, and music. Held near Queen's Beach and olive groves—perfect for anchoring and relaxing.

19 July – Lantern Festival (Tivat)

Inspired by Thai and Japanese traditions, this chic event features exotic cuisine and dancing under glowing lanterns. Dress code: white with a twist. Entry by reservation only.

19 July – Ulysses Theatre, 25th Anniversary (Brijuni)

The Janoska Ensemble brings an improvisational twist to Vivaldi’s masterpiece in a seaside concert held in partnership with KotorArt.

4 August – Lošinj Cruisers Regatta (Mali Lošinj)

A friendly sailing competition through Lošinj's beautiful waters, combining sport, fun, and camaraderie.

7 August – Róisín Murphy (St. Michael's Fortress, Šibenik)

The eclectic Irish singer takes the stage under the stars with a visually striking and musically powerful performance.

15 August – Josipa Lisac (St. Michael's Fortress, Šibenik)

7–9 September – Peristil Vibrez 2025 (Split)

A festival combining classical, crossover, and jazz on Split’s grandest stage, the imperial Peristil. Julian Rachlin with Zagreb Soloists, Ara Malikian, and The Baylor Project will deliver music under the stars.
