The award-winning brand of beds and pillows for pets and outdoor and indoor furniture for people entered this year with a series of novelties and business expansion. With the newly opened store and showroom in Zagreb, Qushin presents a redesigned website and enters the German market with special offers
‘It was not clear to me why there are no nice beds for dogs on the market and why, when my guests come, it must be seen from the plane that it is a dog bed? I wanted that pillow to be a decoration of the apartment and be in a visible place,’ she said. is Iva Goluža in September 2015. Today, almost a decade later, this economist by profession and creative entrepreneur can proudly say – I succeeded!
Qushin, inspired by the love for the special dog Baku, who now follows Iva from another dimension, soon gained a reputation as a quality brand for pets that combines aesthetics and functionality, and this was confirmed by winning a gold medal for the Sofa model at the European Product Design Award.
All this motivated Ivo Goluža to expand the Lounge range with a collection of outdoor and indoor furniture, move from Vrbik to a new store and showroom in Radnička cesta 1a and start conquering Europe.
‘The newly opened space in Radnička was designed to reflect the brand’s philosophy – it is warm and friendly, a place where everyone can find something for their pet, but also for their own moments of leisure and relaxation. That has always been important to me, hearing what people want for your favorite furry ones, to see our pets nesting without fail in a certain pillow…’ says Iva, adding that an important step in unifying the offer was the redesign of Qushin’s website.
Thus, www.qushin.com now contains two main categories – Pets and Living, ensuring even easier access to its products. The Living category includes products intended to improve the living space of people, while Pets remains faithful to the original mission – to provide pets with the ultimate comfort. And not only in Croatia.
Qushin is also successful in the rest of Europe. Their pillows, collars, walking leads, pet bags and toys can also be found in stores in Germany, France, Belgium, Serbia and Switzerland. Also, it has recently enriched its offer with products for cats.
‘Stagnation or mediocrity have never been an option for me. Simply, if you don’t keep up with the times, if you don’t constantly improve and stand out with design, quality, service and aesthetics, you won’t succeed. I always wanted to build a ‘bigger’ story. That’s how we recently made a big step into the German market, opening special profiles for Pets and Living, adapted to the needs and tastes of German customers. And we are doing great,’ concludes Iva.
