This year at the Dalmatia Boat Show, which took place this April in Marina Baotić in Seget near Trogir, we were among the first in the world to test Absolute 70 Fly, the latest model from the famous Italian builder.

Recognizable design language

Like all Absolute models, the new one was designed in house, and visually fits perfectly into Absolute's fly line in all its easily recognizable features. The bow begins with a recognizable vertical line widening into a deep V at the waterline, and on the sides of the bow there are the recognizable windows of the master cabin.

The hull top slopes toward the aft, revealing an opening in the middle. Atop, the glazed superstructure with a flybridge roof and the adjacent top boast sporty design.

Versatile aft deck experience

The aft, brimming with Absolute style, begins with a spacious aft platform that lowers hydraulically into the sea. The platform houses the tender garage and two staircases leading to the main deck. The main deck aft boast spaciousness rarely seen in this class, with a folding dining table surrounded by six modular sofas that can be moved around the deck.

This area, that doubles as a dining spot, isn’t covered by roof, but can be covered by a large awning extending from the aft part of the flybridge. Under the covered part, there is a small outdoor bar and an outdoor docking station port side, a spacious central salon door in the middle and a staircase to the flybridge starboard.

Flybridge experience

The staircase leads up onto the central part of flybridge, covered by a hard roof. This deck is spacious enough for a spacious, well-equipped outdoor L-shaped galley served by an L-shaped sofa and a dining table. The spacious aft part of the flybridge is intentionally empty to accommodate moving furniture of the owner's choice.

The bow part of the flybridge is reserved for a semicircular sofa port-side and a futuristic-looking outdoor command post with two consoles, multifunction displays and the steering wheel placed between them. The throttle levers and IPS joystick are placed on a separate raised console, and the seats are deep and ergonomic, inspired by car design.

The new Absolute 70 Fly boasts a spacious lounge area at the bow, with a semi-circular sofa and a coffee table, and at the top of the bow there is a spacious sundeck.

Interiors that seamlessly connect luxury and the sea

Pleasantly wide side passages with tall railing lead to the bow, where six-panel sliding doors open into the airy salon with an elliptical dining table and the galley are located opposite each other, where the combination of dark parquet, light wood and large windows creates a feeling of open space and connection with the sea.

Surrounded by six adjustable chairs, the table is the heart of the dining area, and at the touch of a button it can be moved to the left, to widen the passage to the galley or create a semi-open dining area by the side door with a view of the sea.

The galley is spacious and elegant, with white counter tops and cabinets, with a sink, induction hob, oven and dishwasher, asa well as a spacious refrigerator right next to the entrance to the salon.

The spaciousness of the salon equals that of salons on much larger yachts, and the space is well integrated with the interior command post, placed behind an elegant latticed panel. The command post is identical to the exterior one, enjoys great visibility and is served by a dedicated exit to the starboard side passage. To the left of the command post, there is a wide staircase leading below deck, to the master cabin.

Cabins inspired by superyachts

With a central double bed a headboard facing the aft, this cabin offers an incredible feeling of spaciousness, enhanced by two large side windows on the hull. Luxurious furnishings with a marbled headboard, curved, soft lines and designer lighting fixtures create a superyacht atmosphere.

In the very bow, the luxurious private head boasts two sinks, a large shower cabin, a toilet and a bidet. The head itself, like the cabin, has spacious side windows that allow plenty of natural light.

The other cabins below deck are easily accessed by a semi-circular staircase and a corridor that connects two guest cabins and a VIP cabin in the aft that stretches side to side. The VIP has a centrally placed double bed, a semi-open private head with an integral sink, and a toilet and a shower cabin behind their dedicated doors.

The guest cabins both have two single beds, while the beds in the left guest cabin can be joined into one double. All heads have luxurious sinks in either marble or Corian, with gold-plated fittings.
