Greenline Yachts Unveils Full Details of the Greenline 42
Greenline Yachts has released the first running shots and comprehensive technical details for the exceptional new Greenline 42. Following its world premiere at boot, the latest imagery captures the vessel in motion, highlighting a design already being hailed as a future icon. The yacht maintains the brand’s signature S shaped sheerline and 360 degree glazing while introducing a more contemporary finish. Developed in collaboration with designer Marco Casali, the 42 brings a touch of Italian flair to the exterior.
The remodeled cockpit offers unprecedented space with a central four person table and an optional drop down aft platform. By lowering the galley windows and opening the aft doors, the salon and cockpit merge into a single indoor outdoor living area. The interior features a master cabin, a flexible guest cabin, and the new option of a second head for enhanced privacy.
The yacht utilizes advanced power management with ten solar panels generating up to 4.5kW of energy. This allows the boat to run on silent electric power for 48 hours or more, even with the air conditioning active.
While available with a standard diesel powertrain, the H Drive 6G system integrates 23kW electric motors for silent maneuvering at speeds up to 6.5 knots. Under diesel power, the new hull reaches 25 knots, proving more efficient and stable than previous models.
Originally intended to replace the Greenline 40, CEO Vladimir Zinchenko decided to keep both models in production due to high demand. The Greenline 42 now sits between the 40 and 45, offering a distinct alternative for owners seeking more space, higher speeds, and modern styling without sacrificing the brand’s legendary comfort.
