Riva 58’ Capri: Shaped by the Glamour of Capri
The first in a new generation of Riva open yachts expressing sportiness and timeless elegance
Riva 58’ Capri is the shipyard’s new open yacht, combining a sporty profile with strong performance and a calm, comfortable onboard experience.
Evolution of Riva open yachts
As the evolution of the 56’ Rivale and inspired by the design language of the 68’ Diable, the 58’ Capri marks a new step for owners who want the character of a pure open with the practicality of a larger yacht.
Measuring 17.27 metres in length with a beam of 4.74 metres, the model stands out for its elegant silhouette and fixed canopy that blends into the hull lines, adding a contemporary touch and a note of Capri glamour. The interiors mirror this balance, offering bright, well-finished spaces designed for relaxed cruising.
The yacht is designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with Piero Ferrari’s Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group Engineering.
Exteriors
The Shark Grey hull with Bright Black accents carries a long glazing strip that adds a dynamic look. The aft garage accommodates a Williams 325 Turbo Jet tender, while steps lead to the cockpit and provide water access when the swim platform is lowered.
The cockpit serves as the main social area, protected by the canopy and arranged with a sun pad, L-shaped sofa, convertible table, raised daybed and a starboard bar unit. The helm features digital controls and Simrad touchscreen displays.
The canopy’s counter-curved glass and electric soft top shape the yacht’s profile, with external air conditioning and natural ventilation enhancing comfort. Forward, a sun pad and glass surface bring light into the guest cabin below.
Interiors
The lower deck offers a functional layout with options for light or dark woods. The first unit features high-gloss Chocolate Wengè with mirrored surfaces and stainless-steel details.
The lounge-dinette includes an L-shaped sofa, pouffe and coffee table, opposite storage in smoked glass and the galley. A discreet dayhead is located nearby.
Three cabins complete the accommodations: the aft master with a transverse bed and refined detailing, the bow VIP with an en-suite, and a third cabin that serves as a crew space or an optional guest cabin with bunk beds.
Propulsion
Twin MAN V8-1000 engines deliver a top speed of 33 knots and cruising speed of 27 knots. Optional MAN V8-1200s raise top speed to 37 knots and cruising to 31 knots (preliminary). A Seakeeper NG6 stabiliser is available for added comfort.
