Sanlorenzo’s SD132 Sets the Stage for Cannes Debut
The SD132, Sanlorenzo’s largest semi-displacement yacht, unites generous scale with innovative design and enduring elegance
Sanlorenzo will unveil the SD132, the new flagship of its semi-displacement line, at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. At 40.7 meters, it is the largest composite yacht the shipyard has ever built and the most spacious model in the brand’s established SD range.
Building on the legacy of predecessors such as the SD90, SD112, SD118, and SD126, the SD132 introduces fresh design solutions and an innovative use of space. With 420 gross tons, it delivers volumes uncommon for yachts in its size bracket, underscoring Sanlorenzo’s focus on functional elegance.
One of the yacht’s defining features is the redesigned beach area. Folding terraces expand to form a 70 square meter lounge at the water’s edge, opening the aft cockpit into an unobstructed terrace that enhances the connection to the sea.
The fly deck spans 85 square meters and includes a forward lounge with a transparent mini pool and integrated sunbathing system, linked directly to the main deck. A side garage with transverse launching, typically reserved for larger yachts, can house a 6.3 meter tender. This space is complemented by an additional hangar for toys or a rescue boat.
Exterior design by Zuccon International Project incorporates Sanlorenzo’s hallmark asymmetry, with offset walkways that optimize circulation and maximize interior volume while maintaining a balanced profile.
The layout offers four guest cabins on the lower deck, a crew area with dedicated facilities, and a 55 square meter owner’s suite on the main deck. Two salons, located on the main and upper decks, create bright and open living spaces.
Interiors by Zuccon are inspired by natural materials and textures. Earth-toned finishes, stone-like surfaces, contrasting woods, and tactile fabrics create a warm and sensory environment while adhering to sustainable material choices.
With a range of 3,200 miles, the SD132 remains true to Sanlorenzo’s tradition of robust semi-displacement yachts, designed for extended voyages and transoceanic cruising.
