The largest nautical fair in Central Europe, the 26th Biograd Boat Show, concluded in Marina Kornati after a five-day spectacular on sea and land, marked by a series of successful business meetings and agreements. With over 450 exhibitors, 500 vessels, and more than 25 premiere boats, the 26th Biograd Boat Show, organized by local tourism company Ilirija d.d., has set a new record and solidified its position as the leading nautical event in Croatia and Central Europe.
The unique feature of this year’s largest fair is that, after 25 years of being held within the Ilirija Marina Kornati, due to the exceptional growth of interest from exhibitors and partners, the fair has expanded to the Biograd City Harbor, encompassing both the passenger and fishing harbor and thus embracing the entire city of Biograd.
This year, the five-day festival of world and European nautical industries has evolved into a ‘5-in-1’ event, bringing together a boat and equipment exhibition, a congress, a charter fair, and a business-to-business meeting in one place. The festival has also added a new dimension with the introduction of a luxury travel and adventure tourism fair, elevating its profile as a congress for the Croatian nautical industry and tourism. This addition has brought a touch of glamour and luxury, aligning perfectly with Croatia’s premium offerings, particularly in the nautical sector, which is renowned as our most elite form of tourism.
This ‘5-in-1’ event encompassed: the 26th Biograd Boat Show – an exhibition fair; the 8th HKG Days of Croatian Nautics – a congress; the 6th Croatia Charter Expo – a charter fair; the 9th Biograd B2B – a business-to-business fair; and the 1st Croatia Luxury and Adventure Travel Show – a luxury and adventure tourism fair.
The fair showcased an impressive array of over 25 boat premieres, captivating boat enthusiasts. A total of 500 exhibitors from domestic and international markets contributed to the event’s success.
One of the highlights was the global debut of Groupe Beneteau’s innovative Monomaran, an eight-person electric yacht equipped with solar panels. This groundbreaking concept, from the world’s leading leisure boat manufacturer, offers a radical new vision for the future of boating. The event also showcased a variety of luxury brands, including Sanlorenzo, Gulfcraft, and Frauscher.
The fair was also accompanied by the Festival of Originality, featuring about 20 producers of Croatian original products, as well as a wide range of equipment and everything related to nautical activities. Ilirija’s event boat ‘Nada’ served as the stage for the afterparty gathering. It was enhanced by the legendary entertainment program known as the Biograd Boat Show experience, beloved by the audience for its dynamism and liveliness. Because when the sun sets and the exhibition ends, the entertainment program begins, bringing the whole city to life. Multiple parties and live performances were included, and the Yachts Croatia After Show brought together many dear faces and nautical friends.
