This year, the Biograd Boat Show broke all records, with more exhibitors, boats, premieres, and attendees than ever before
More than 350 exhibitors and 300 boats were on display from October 26th to 30th, with more than 78 new vessel premieres. The organizer, Ilirija d.d., really proved themselves with an exceptionally organized, premium level show. There was an impressive improvement in the luxury segment, with a vast selection of vessels up to 22m. The clientele for such vessels continues to grow, as Biograd is a big draw for international boaters that gravitate to the Croatian coast.
The show is very much a lifestyle show, offering a beautiful exhibition environment in a charming resort town that comes alive during the show. Sunset marks the end of the exhibits and the start of an evening entertainment program with multiple live music events, art displays, and fireworks. The Biograd Boat Show also means business.
The organizers have created Biograd B2B, a business networking event that runs in parallel with the show, links business participants, an includes an extensive congress program. It also includes the Croatia Charter Expo, a B2B event where more than 3000 charter yachts are represented. Next year, this biggest of Central Europe’s in-water shows will mark its 25th anniversary, but we can already say it has made its mark on the world stage.

This latest design is also this time signed by the Italian designer Marco Casali, who, together with the development team of Bavaria, designed the sporty, elegant lines of the motorboat, which with a standard bathing platform measures 12.28 m in length and 3.85 m in width. Especially surprising is the wide shape of the hull, which provides a spacious interior, large window areas and a lot of space in the bow and stern.
FIM Regina 340
High performance, unique design, timeless elegance. The 340 Regina is a small yacht that reflects the best characteristics of Made in Italy. Dynamic and modern line, without sacrificing luxury and refinement, this yacht has attracted a lot of attention at all the boat shows where it has appeared so far and it attracted a lot of attention at its Croatian premiere at the Biograd Boat Show.

It has the same elegant and efficient body design as the Saxdor 320 GTO, which provides the best performance. With two Mercury V6 CMS outboard engines with 225 hp each, it can accelerate up to a maximum of 45 knots, but it is also extremely easy to manage. The result of vacuum infusion construction is a light, but strong and extremely stable ship with greater fuel efficiency. This Saxdor 270 GTO has a 300 hp Mercury V8 Sea pro CMS engine and white gray hull, and on deck there is an outside bar, designer seats with a teak cockpit table, all topped with a T-top for a very sporty look.

This unique day cruiser was developed in collaboration with the famous British designer Bill Dixon, who on this boat successfully combined a sporty design and an open layout that includes a comfortable cabin with a toilet. A large T-top gives a stamp to the sporty and modern design. Equipped with an outblard motor from 250 to 350 HP in combination with a stepped hull, it provides an exciting boating experience.

The Excess 11 is the only serial production catamaran on the market for this size. It is also one of the smallest cruising catamarans that can offer so much comfort and space. Excess 11 is a model capable of long cruises and made for life on board. According to the designers, the goal was to create a real catamaran for cruising, which is available in a version with three cabins and two bathrooms or with four cabins and two bathrooms. Considering the increasing popularity of catamarans in our market, we expect this boat to receive a lot of attention.
Solaris 50
Among the sailboats, the elegant sports cruiser Solaris 50 made its debut in Croatia. After the success of the Solaris 48 and 50 models, the Italian sailboat manufacturer Solaris launched a project to develop new waterlines for future models, and the result is the new Solaris 50 with a total length of 15.50 m and a width of 4.78 m. The result of the innovative water lines is the extension of the aft sections, which allows the use of double rudder blades and the installation of a dinghy garage with longitudinal access, which is a unique solution on yachts of this size. The spacious cockpit gives enough space to place a second dining table. The interior is available with three cabins with two or three bathrooms.
Elan Impression 43
In addition to the sporty Elan E6, which had its Croatian premiere at the Biograd Boat Show, Elan Yachts has decided to choose this fair for the world premiere of the brand new Elan Impression 43 model, which continues the tradition of the famous Impression line. With a modern wide hull, the yacht offers much more space than previous models. Hull and sail plan is designed by naval architectural studio Humphreys Yacht Design. The aesthetics of the yachts were designed in collaboration with the Pininfarina design studio.
The cockpit is made for enjoyment at anchor as well as for the pleasure of sailing. Enough room for up to 10 people will ensure that everyone is comfortable on board and the double helm with composite rudders offers freedom of movement on board. Owners can choose between three or four-cabin versions. The three-cabin version includes an en-suite with an island bed and a spacious head with a separate shower, and the four-cabin version adds a cabin with bunk beds, perfect for families or groups of friends.
Oceanis 34.1
This sailboat is a good example that small sailboats are still not a neglected category, but are becoming more and more luxurious and of higher quality. Thus, the Oceanis 34.1 is more elegant, lighter, with a larger sail area and more space on the bow for the owner’s cabin than its predecessor. Marc Lombard and NAUTA Design joined their efforts to produce a unique design concept, true to the spirit of the 7th generation Oceanis line.
The deck layout has been redesigned to ensure maximum comfort and safety when moving around the boat. All the ropes for the sails and for the furling system are located in front of the cockpit, while on each side there is a winch for the helmsman for the headsails. The result is an uncluttered cockpit ideal for relaxing, with easy access to the aft swim platform.
