Traveling with a group of ten calls for the right yacht. Along the Croatian coast you will find vessels spacious enough for privacy yet intimate enough to share the journey. Benefits of chartering a yacht for 10 people

A yacht charter for ten allows you to explore without compromise. It is the balance of exclusivity and togetherness, ideal for extended families, groups of friends, or two families traveling together. Unlike land-based accommodation, the experience evolves each day as you move from island to island, anchoring in quiet bays or arriving directly at vibrant waterfront towns. The yacht becomes your private resort, with no schedules to follow but your own.

Suggested routes for groups of 10 guests

Depending on your group’s preferences, itineraries can be crafted to blend vibrant hotspots with serene retreats. A favored route might commence in Split, calling at Brač, Hvar, and Korčula, then onward to Mljet before concluding in Dubrovnik. Alternatively, a northern loop around Šibenik offers overnight stays in the Kornati Islands and explores the Zadar archipelago. Each journey is thoughtfully designed to balance cultural immersion, natural beauty, and moments of relaxation.

Tips for chartering a yacht with a group

Chartering a yacht with a group can be one of the most rewarding ways to explore the Croatian coast provided it is planned with care. A smooth and enjoyable experience begins long before you step aboard. Here are a few key tips to ensure your group journey unfolds seamlessly:

Start with open communication. Align on preferences, energy levels, and desired experiences well in advance.

Share your group’s profile with your charter consultant. This helps tailor the itinerary, onboard setup, and activities to suit everyone.

Opt for a fully crewed yacht. A professional crew takes care of navigation, meals, and service so you can focus on enjoying the journey.

Plan with all ages in mind. If traveling with children, choose a yacht equipped with safety features and versatile water toys.

FAQ

Just call us :) You should first define the boundaries of your needs and budget. The most important is to determine the number of guests you need to accommodate because it dictates the size and number of cabins. You need to pay attention to the configuration of the cabins, double or twin, and also take care of the sizes of double beds. In general, yachts offer personalized service of high level, but the quality of service is related to number of crew. Based on prefilled preference list, we will make sure that your wishes are carefully executed. Finally, choose the period which suits you the best to make your yachting dreams come true.

In case you have special wishes regarding the cruise itinerary, be sure to consult your charter broker. Namely, the cruising route primarily depends on the weather conditions, the speed of your yacht and the available berths in the marinas. Please note that the yacht's flag may restrict entry to some countries and that some countries require a visa when entering.

The best time is stretched from spring to autumn. In Croatia, the pre-season starts with Easter and lasts until the beginning of July. The weather is changeable with sea temperatures up to 23. The days are long and there are no big crowds at the anchorages and marinas. July and August are considered the peak of the season. The sea is warm with air temperatures higher than 30. It's pretty busy at sea, in bays and marinas. Guests who like crushes and night parties consider this an ideal period for a cruising vacation. September and October are ideal months for all lovers of romantic moments. The weather is still pleasant and warm, although the days are shorter. Prices in this period are lower and on islands there are no big jams - just like in the spring pre-season.

The yacht rental price always refers to a period of 7 days. The basic price of renting a luxury yacht includes the hire of the yacht, yacht's insurance and crew service. An additional cost is VAT of 13%, and the supplies, fuel, marina fees and all extra services, and are always covered by the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) which is usually 30% of the charter fee. Delivery/return fees may also apply if the charter week does not start/end from the home port. The crew will take care that your every wish is realized, also based on the pre-filled Preference List.

Yachts can accommodate up to 12 people, at maximum. The exceptions are the mini-cruisers that can operate with more cabins, and are small passenger ships. But, the realistic capacity of the yacht is limited by the number of cabins, which can be double or twin, and the number of sleeping places defines the number of guests which yachts can accommodate. Normally it varies between 6 and 12 guests. Some yachts have Pullman beds (extra bunk bed) that are often seen in children’s rooms, so for example, you can have 11 guests in a five-cabin yacht.

A tip for the crew is not mandatory, but it is common to leave 5-15% of the total charter fee. It depends completely on the level of your satisfaction. It is customary to leave the tip to the captain who will distribute it among the entire crew.
