Why charter a yacht for your group of 12?

Traveling with 12 people usually means compromises, but not on a yacht. A private yacht gives you freedom. No packing and unpacking. No set schedules. Just your group moving at your own pace. Whether it’s a family celebration, a trip with close friends, or two families traveling together, the right yacht makes everything feel effortless. Everyone has space to unwind, and moments together happen naturally.

Popular Croatian destinations for 12 guests

Croatia offers a variety of options for groups of this size. You can sail from Split to Hvar, Brač, and Korčula, with each island offering its own pace and charm. Further south, explore the clear waters around Mljet or anchor near Dubrovnik’s old town. If you start in the north, cruise through the Kornati Islands or visit the Istrian coast with its historic towns and quiet bays. Routes can be adjusted to fit your group’s interests, whether that means culture, nature, or simply time on the water.

Onboard services tailored for groups

With a larger crew on board, you can expect attentive service and a personalized experience. From a captain who knows the coast well to a chef ready to meet your preferences, the service is both discreet and thoughtful. Meals can be formal or casual. Days can follow a set plan or flow naturally. Yachts for 12 often feature jacuzzis, water toys, and shaded lounges, making it easy to spend entire days on board without feeling the need to go ashore. FAQ

Just call us :) You should first define the boundaries of your needs and budget. The most important is to determine the number of guests you need to accommodate because it dictates the size and number of cabins. You need to pay attention to the configuration of the cabins, double or twin, and also take care of the sizes of double beds. In general, yachts offer personalized service of high level, but the quality of service is related to number of crew. Based on prefilled preference list, we will make sure that your wishes are carefully executed. Finally, choose the period which suits you the best to make your yachting dreams come true.

In case you have special wishes regarding the cruise itinerary, be sure to consult your charter broker. Namely, the cruising route primarily depends on the weather conditions, the speed of your yacht and the available berths in the marinas. Please note that the yacht's flag may restrict entry to some countries and that some countries require a visa when entering.

The best time is stretched from spring to autumn. In Croatia, the pre-season starts with Easter and lasts until the beginning of July. The weather is changeable with sea temperatures up to 23. The days are long and there are no big crowds at the anchorages and marinas. July and August are considered the peak of the season. The sea is warm with air temperatures higher than 30. It's pretty busy at sea, in bays and marinas. Guests who like crushes and night parties consider this an ideal period for a cruising vacation. September and October are ideal months for all lovers of romantic moments. The weather is still pleasant and warm, although the days are shorter. Prices in this period are lower and on islands there are no big jams - just like in the spring pre-season.

The yacht rental price always refers to a period of 7 days. The basic price of renting a luxury yacht includes the hire of the yacht, yacht's insurance and crew service. An additional cost is VAT of 13%, and the supplies, fuel, marina fees and all extra services, and are always covered by the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) which is usually 30% of the charter fee. Delivery/return fees may also apply if the charter week does not start/end from the home port. The crew will take care that your every wish is realized, also based on the pre-filled Preference List.

Yachts can accommodate up to 12 people, at maximum. The exceptions are the mini-cruisers that can operate with more cabins, and are small passenger ships. But, the realistic capacity of the yacht is limited by the number of cabins, which can be double or twin, and the number of sleeping places defines the number of guests which yachts can accommodate. Normally it varies between 6 and 12 guests. Some yachts have Pullman beds (extra bunk bed) that are often seen in children’s rooms, so for example, you can have 11 guests in a five-cabin yacht.

A tip for the crew is not mandatory, but it is common to leave 5-15% of the total charter fee. It depends completely on the level of your satisfaction. It is customary to leave the tip to the captain who will distribute it among the entire crew.
