Spanish tennis star and multi Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz has entered the world of maritime luxury by commissioning a bespoke Sunreef Ultima 88. By commissioning this luxury catamaran, he joins a list of notable Sunreef ambassadors that includes Fernando Alonso, Rafael Nadal, Nico Rosberg, Mike Horn, and Robert Lewandowski.
'I decided to order the Ultima 88 with Sunreef because I feel they are not only experts in luxury catamarans but true trendsetters,' Alcaraz commented. 'Building with them gives me confidence that this will be the perfect yacht to unwind and recharge.
Francis Lapp, Founder and President of Sunreef Yachts, noted that Alcaraz is another remarkable personality joining the 'House of Sunreef,' describing the group as 'a community of visionary ambassadors whose achievements inspire the world and bring fresh energy to the yachting lifestyle.'
The Sunreef Ultima line bridges the gap between monohull speed and multihull volume. The Ultima 88 reaches top speeds of 26 knots while maintaining the comfort and efficiency inherent to a catamaran platform. Designed for an active lifestyle, the yacht features a signature 'Ocean Lounge' at the stern with a large garage and folding side terraces for direct water access.
Alcaraz's version will be configured with four guest cabins and a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck, forward. The master stateroom will include a bathroom with a bathtub and natural light on both sides. The flybridge will be laid out for outdoor dining and relaxation.
