If writing about music is like dancing about architecture, describing the Seadeck 9, the new flagship in Azimut's milestone Seadeck Series, is like trying to capture the ocean itself. Azimut responded to this challenge by creating its most open vessel yet: if you cannot contain the sea, you become part of it.

This 26 meter yacht elevates the classic indoor outdoor layout into an immersive deck that fully melds with nature, embracing light, sun, and water, all reflected in the shimmering aft plunge pool.

From the Fun island to the pool deck

True to its name, the sea deck welcomes you right at the water’s edge. The aft stage blends seamlessly with the sea, where symmetrical stairs reminiscent of a Mediterranean villa guide you across three tiered terraces into the main saloon, creating a single fluid space.

The vessel reaches for the sea like a living being: lateral wings unfold, the swim platform glides into the water, and movable sunbeds reveal a flush deck pool. On the Seadeck 9, the iconic Fun Island pioneered by the Seadeck 6 and Seadeck 7 evolves into a spectacular 180° Pool Deck. The amphitheatre shaped lounge directs the gaze past the pool’s transparent glass straight to the horizon, featuring a central table that effortlessly converts for dining.

A 7 sqm transformer swim platform lets guests slip into the blue or rest immersed in the water. The Fun Island sets the vibe, inviting everyone to dive in with Jet Skis, Seabobs, and paddleboards at the ready. Exterior designer Alberto Mancini kept a strong emphasis on openness, ensuring circulation flows with intuitive simplicity while fully concealing the anchor to preserve a clean, sculptural profile.

Inside, the Main Deck acts as a natural extension of the terraces, transforming the external lounge into an unhurried interior saloon facing aft. Full height windows and a completely disappearing glass door maintain outdoor freedom beneath generous ceilings.

Curated by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, the interiors reflect a vision of luxury founded on wellbeing and longevity. At the entrance, a Bonacina bamboo chair bridges indoors and outdoors, harmonizing tactile warmth with minimalism. The design balances architectural subtraction with material richness across two available palettes: warm light walnut or bright pale oak.

On the lower deck, the Master Cabin is conceived as a private retreat inspired by eco resort philosophy. It features a spa like aura with integrated washbasins open to the stateroom and a writing desk built into the bookcase. A VIP and two guest cabins ensure hospitality throughout, while discreet crew circulation preserves absolute privacy for everyone on board.

Engineering and hotel mode

The Seadeck 9 is a true cruising yacht and a member of Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht family. Its hull, developed with Names, builds on the efficiency of the earlier Seadeck 6 and Seadeck 7 designs to deliver one of the most efficient planing hulls Azimut has ever created, allowing the boat to plane early and cruise efficiently at lower speeds.

Built with 40% carbon fibre to reduce weight and powered by a triple Volvo Penta IPS installation, fuel consumption and emissions are reduced by up to 30% compared to traditional shaft line vessels of similar size.

At anchor, Azimut's advanced Hotel Mode takes over. Supported by a 60 kWh lithium battery pack, the yacht operates in complete silence with the generators switched off. This setup delivers up to four hours of daytime autonomy and eight hours at night in total comfort.

Key onboard services remain fully operational, including stabilizers, air conditioning, the galley, and entertainment systems. The battery pack recharges fully in five hours from shore power or four hours via the generator, boasting a lifespan of over 3,500 cycles for up to ten years of service.
