Tuxedo Yachting House Unveils All-Aluminum 40m Superyacht Ceccarelli

Tuxedo Yachting House has officially expanded into the superyacht market with the launch of the Ceccarelli 40, an all-aluminum flagship that marks the Ceccarelli family’s high-profile return to large-scale shipbuilding. Unveiled at On House Milano, the vessel combines the shipyard’s signature technical precision with a legacy of Italian nautical excellence dating back to the early 1980s.

The project is the result of a collaborative design effort led by Francesco Paszkowski Design. Exterior stylist Sebastian Martinez and interior architect Margherita Casprini worked to create a profile that balances traditional elegance with contemporary, automotive-inspired details. 

A standout feature is the wheelhouse, which utilizes an aft-inclined windshield and a faceted rollbar to create a distinctive 'spoiler' effect, a nod to the family’s historical design DNA.

Beyond aesthetics, the Ceccarelli 40 focuses on environmental integration and performance. Paszkowski introduced architectural elements that blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior, using consistent materials like wood accents to connect the main deck entrance with the outdoor spaces. The yacht’s functional areas have also been reimagined, featuring a stylized stern and enhanced mooring sections that prioritize both form and ease of operation.

On the technical front, Studio Names engineered a semi-displacement hull optimized through advanced fluid dynamics. This allows the yacht to reach speeds exceeding 18 knots with optimized power consumption. While the initial build features a traditional diesel configuration, the platform is strategically designed to support hybrid propulsion systems and battery integration, ensuring the vessel remains aligned with modern sustainability standards.
