Cigar Smoking World Championship – For the sixth time
From September 4 to 6 this year Split Cigar Club Mareva will host the Cigar Smoking World Championship. This year’s championship is expected to be especially exciting, as it effectively be the finale of the international event after 13 qualifying rounds held earlier this year in some of the world’s most famous cigar clubs and hotels. After New York, London and Saint Peterburg, the contestants will come to Split. For the first time since the beginning of the championship, three former champions will all participate in one event, each of them trying to take the title (which will either go the The States, or to Russia).
The hedonist event will gather 130 contestants from thirty countries, who will get to see some of the most beautiful locations in Croatia. The event includes several smaller parties and events, hosted by Vila Dalmacija (Bespoke Cigars White night) and hotel Radisson (gala night). The event is sponsored by long-term partners McLaren Sportscar, Chivas Whiskey, Martell Cognac and Cigar Journal magazine, and many other luxury brands partnering with the event for the first time. www.clubmareva.com
